Just a few miles from downtown Sacramento is Arden Gardens, a neighborhood that’s seemingly close to everything. “People don’t realize how walkable of an area it is,” says Laura Costa of Grounded Real Estate, who has closed over 40 sales in the area. “The public transportation is also great, so you can get to so many shops and restaurants without even getting in your car.” Arden Gardens itself is made up of single-family homes, apartments and commercial buildings but is surrounded by amenities that make it a desirable location. Within a block to the south sits the local public high school, to the west is one of Sacramento’s finest shopping destinations and the scenic Howe Park is just minutes away to the north.

The Sacramento Regional Transit system has fixed bus routes that have frequent stops along Howe Avenue, Arden Way and many more main drags. The neighborhood is also just 22 minutes from the airport for those who want to take to the skies.
