Vineyard students get to enroll in the Elk Grove Unified School District, which Niche calls the No. 2 best district in Sacramento County. Elementary students attend either Maeola Beitzel Elementary or Robert Fite Elementary, depending on their side of town. Both schools feed into T.R. Smedberg Middle School, ranked by Niche as the No. 22 best public middle school in the county. Take the final steps right next door at Sheldon High School, which holds an overall A grade from Niche, which also calls Sheldon High the No. 3 standout high school in the Sacramento area.
