Located less than a mile from downtown Saginaw, the Cathedral District attracts homebuyers looking unique sense of history and its proximity to city amenities. “The Cathedral District stands out for its large, ornate historic homes, especially the Victorian-style architecture,” says Andrew Hauck, Realtor at Century 21 Signature. The neighborhood sprang up along the eastern banks of the Saginaw River and was the first settlement of Saginaw in the early 1800s. In 1979, the district received recognition by the National Register of Historic Places. Today the district offers residents a combination of architectural history, outdoor recreation and proximity to Saginaw's cultural and artistic offerings.
