Properties commonly feature open grassy front yards with wide paved driveways and backyards adorned with mature pine trees. Subdivisions are quiet and walkable with sidewalk-lined streets. Three-bedroom homes typically cost between $250,000 and $400,000, while larger five-bedroom homes sell for $500,000 to $600,000. According to the CAP Index Crime Score, Gray’s Creek has an overall crime score of 2 out of 10, significantly lower than the national average of 4.

Public school students zoned for well-rated Cumberland County Schools district schools
Public school students may attend Gray’s Creek Elementary, Gray’s Creek Middle and Gray’s Creek High. Part of the Cumberland County Schools district, all three schools earn solid B Niche grades. The high school is home to the Academy of Information Technology, which aims to prepare students with the skills they need for careers in IT. “The schools are a big draw,” says Heather Edwards, a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Advantage, who’s been selling homes in the area for five years. “The people I’ve sold to tend to want to have their kids there. It’s a more rural area with a lot of family-oriented things to do.”

Highway 87 runs through the center of Gray’s Creek, making travel for work or pleasure easy.
