Located in the southernmost section of St. Petersburg and bordered by Tampa Bay, the Greater Pinellas Point neighborhood is a sleepy borough that offers waterfront views and an active outdoor lifestyle. The area includes eight parks, with over 140 acres of green space. And those who yearn for the life aquatic are in luck here. “People move here because it’s close to the water,” says Brittany Ranew, a Realtor with Sotheby’s International Realty. “Residents get water access, and people like to kayak and fish. Beyond that, you’re also super close to the beach.”

Maximo Park is 70 acres of waterfront outdoor recreation, with seven boat ramps, a disc golf course, playground, a beach and picnic shelters. Visitors can learn about the Native Americans who once lived here, through educational signs scattered throughout the park.
