A coastal St. Pete community with a variety of outdoor recreation
Named after the tropical plants and deep waters surrounding it, St. Petersburg’s Mangrove Bay is a community near a variety of outdoor recreation. On the northeastern shores of Tampa Bay, the neighborhood has access to canals and nature preserves, but its gems are the Mangrove Bay and Cypress Links Golf Courses. "This neighborhood is unique because it’s close to the water, plus the golf courses make it super desirable, as well,” says Justin Garrett, a Realtor with Smith & Associates Real Estate. “It’s got a nice small-town feel but it’s still close to the downtown St. Pete area and a short drive over the bridge to Tampa as well." Downtown is 5 miles away, and a vibrant business corridor is less than 3 miles away. Residents can reach the bridge connecting to Tampa in 4 miles.
Uptown Richmond neighborhood is just a five minute boat ride to a beautiful sandbar.
Living in Uptown Richmond neighborhood means you can take that boat on the water whenever.

Both courses have pro shops, snack bars, a driving range and lessons. The waterfront Edgemoor Park is within walking distance and has walking paths, a playground and mangrove-shaded picnic spaces. One mile south, Puryear Park has trails, tennis courts, soccer fields and a shaded playground. The 3,000-acre Weedon Island Preserve is 5 miles east.
