14 miles from the San Angelo Regional Airport
Fort Concho East sits south of U.S. Route 277, which goes through the heart of San Angelo, and just west of Texas State Loop 206, which runs south and connects to U.S. Route 87. Public transportation can be found along Pulliam Street, where the Concho Valley Transit system has multiple stops. For flights, the San Angelo Regional Airport is a 14-mile drive. The commercial airport is served by Delta, United and American Airlines. Shannon St. John’s Hospital is just north of the neighborhood.
