A college community all its own

Set along the campus of the University of Texas at San Antonio, the aptly named College Park is a small residential neighborhood making a big name for itself on the city’s northwest side. “Having the university there is one of the biggest draws to the neighborhood,” says Michael McCall, founder of Life in San Antonio Texas Home Group and Realtor with JBGoodwin, Realtors. “Faculty, staff and students all live in this area for the convenience and proximity to the campus.”

Contemporary homes with curb appeal

Dotted with flourishing trees on either side, the winding streets of College Park are typically lined with contemporary houses displaying stone and brick exteriors framing distinct triangular shapes. Spacious two-story brick designs have large columned porches that add distinction to the streetscape. Several apartment complexes along Babcock Road are home to university students during the school year, including Villas at Babcock and The Reserve San Antonio. Price tags in College Park generally range from the $200,000s to the $400,000s, with special student pricing for apartments.
