Located just off of a major highway, Creekview still has rural hill country charm.
A quiet, convenient San Antonio community
Creekview is a quiet, architecturally cohesive community conveniently located along two major roads northwest of Downtown San Antonio. "The area is full of really nice amenities. It has easy access to neighborhood parks and city parks. It's close to shopping centers, movie theaters and restaurants," says local Realtor Danny Charbel with Keller Williams City View, who has sold homes in the area. "It's got a lot going for it. It's just a really nice part of town." Creekview features relatively new homes that are mostly similar in style. The neighborhood is conveniently located near some of the most popular San Antonio parks, giving residents access to miles of trails to explore and plenty of athletic fields for pickup or organized games. The intersection of Bandera Road and Loop 1604 is nearby, giving residents a short drive to big-box stores and popular restaurants.
Modern suburban homes in Creekview
Creekview consists of several subdivisions whose housing stock typically features brick, stone or stucco siding. Most homes were built in the 1990s or later. Charbel says most properties in the area have good-sized yards. "They're all on at least 1/5 of an acre, so everybody's got a front yard and at least a little bit of a back yard. Everybody has two-car garages," he says. Sidewalks in the neighborhood make it easy for residents to go for a morning jog or an evening stroll through the community. Due to the neighborhood's relatively young age, the area's trees have yet to provide much shade but add a touch of natural beauty. Three-bedroom homes in Creekview typically cost between $280,000 and $350,000. Four-bedroom homes often cost between $370,000 and $385,000. Newer homes can cost up to $600,000.
Creekview's new highend homes are among the newest developments.
Modern style homes are peppered throughout Creekview.

Plan a picnic or read a book at Conner Park
Residents can head to Bonnie Conner Park for some outdoor time. This 24-acre park has a playground, picnic area and walking trails. The park is also home to the John Igo Library. Concealed from the main road by trees, the library was designed to complement the surrounding landscape with its barn-like structure and large windows that allow visitors to view the outdoors. Just south of the neighborhood is OP Schnabel Park, a vast green space with miles of hiking and biking trails, outdoor athletic fields and a YMCA facility. The park connects to the Leon Creek Greenway, which gives residents 20 miles of mixed-use trails to run, walk, bike or skate on throughout the city.

H-E-B Crossing serves the neighborhood's shopping needs
For groceries and essentials, Creekview residents enjoy access to an H-E-B plus!, a large supermarket with a deli, pharmacy and florist. There is also an H-E-B convenience store in the shopping center for smaller items. The H-E-B Crossing shopping center includes an Academy Sports + Outdoors store and several fast-food restaurants, like Wendy's and Chick-fil-A. Just across Bandera Road, residents can shop for more essentials at Target or visit popular stores like T.J. Maxx, Ulta Beauty and Lowe's. Charbel recommends Pericos Mexican for a good local meal. "It's a super popular spot. It's got a great bar, and it's a local family-owned place," he says. This spot is known for its Tex-Mex dishes like empanadas and beef fajitas.
