Suburban living with a country feel east of Phoenix

On the eastern edge of Phoenix's metropolitan area, Superstition Vistas is a quickly developing community just outside of popular areas like Queen Creek and San Tan Valley. Set in the heart of the Sonoran Desert, residents of Superstition Vistas enjoy unparalleled access to the area's wide-open landscape, with many homes coming on several acres of land. Sidney Palmer, a real estate agent with Limitless Real Estate recommends the neighborhood for "Families working in the Mesa or Gilbert area" who would like somewhere "More peaceful, with plenty of space to have horses or spread out and have some privacy." With homes quickly being built eastward and much more new growth still in the works, Superstition Vistas is a place "You’ll want to get in while you can," says Palmer, adding that "Soon, it'll be one of the most premiere communities in the East Valley." Due to a massive development plan by the city of Apache Junction, there are plans for all of the neighborhood's 275 square miles of land to be filled with new homes and recreational and commercial spaces.

On the eastern edge of the Phoenix metro, homes here are close to wide open spaces of the Sonoran Desert and often come with enough space to raise animals, especially towards the neighborhood's eastern portions. “When you’re in the neighborhood, it’s more of a country feel," says Sidney Palmer, a local real estate agent with Limitless Real Estate, adding that "Many of the homes come on an acre or more.” In addition to farm and ranch-style homes that sell for as low as $575,000 and feature enough land for horse stalls and corrals, Superstition Vistas is also bursting with new, suburban-style housing developments, with more subdivisions being planned all the time. Homes here often feature charming Arizona-style architecture, from red-tiled roofing and stucco finishes to multiple gables and arched entryways. Stone turrets on homes and high ceilings indoors give many homes a regal, castle-like feel. Welcome to your better-than-brand-new, 4 bed, 3 bath oasis where ''split floor plan'' doesn't mean ''split personality.'' Built just 3 years ago (which is basically baby fresh in home years), this beauty combines the charm of a brand-new build with the wisdom of tasteful upgrades—kind of like if Joanna Gaines and a Pinterest board had a child. It's an open-concept design that actually makes sense!
