The neighborhood’s brick homes sit close together, with large yards. Midcentury split-level and one-story ranch-style houses sell for $430,000 to $825,000. Prices can be affected by proximity to Interstate 285. “Some of the streets are heavily impacted by highway noise,” says Realtor Ariel Baverman, Caldwell Banker Realty. “Some front windows look out onto highway walls. Others back up to the highway.” Houses stay on the market for an average of 26 days, shorter than the national average of 44. The neighborhood’s CAP Index Crime Score is 5 out of 10, slightly higher than the national average of 4.

Interstate 285 circles Atlanta, runs along the neighborhood’s southern end and intersects with Highway 400, which travels into the city.
