Chastain Park on Powers Ferry Road is one of the largest parks in the city. Visitors can walk or ride a golf cart to explore sports fields, the Chastain Equestrian Center, North Fulton Golf Course and Cadence Bank Amphitheater, an outdoor Live Nation venue. The Chattahoochee River shapes the western side of Sandy Springs ITP, and the surrounding Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area along Interstate North Parkway is a top spot for trout fishing, kayaking and hiking. The area's trails weave along the river and through landmarks like the Chattahoochee Bamboo Forest. Houses of worship surround the park, including Holy Innocents' Episcopal Church on Mount Vernon Highway and Temple Sinai on Dupree Drive.
