The program honored just 23 schools nationally that are helping students pursue postsecondary success. At Geneva’s Famous Chicken and Cornbread, locals enjoy soul food with a kick, with dishes like shrimp po’boys and Cajun fried turkey wings. Avondale residents shop along Victory Drive and Wallin Street in Victory Heights. Local artists and entrepreneurs sell their wares at VENDORS ON VICTORY, and residents can also find big box stores like Target and Whole Foods for everyday essentials.
