Primarily residential neighborhood along the Truman Parkway

Living in Paradise Park is like “having downtown in your backyard without having to pay downtown prices,” says Patrick Donovan, a Realtor with eXp Realty who has sold more than 70 homes in the Savannah market. Just southeast of the Hunter Army Airfield, Paradise Park offers a suburban lifestyle in coastal Georgia with access to shopping centers, downtown events and popular parks. “Location would probably be the neighborhood’s strongest suit,” Donovan says, noting that residents are only 30 minutes from the beach and 15 minutes from historic downtown. Oglethorpe Mall, Lake Mayer Park and multiple Savannah-Chatham County public schools are all within 5 miles, and highway access makes each of these destinations easy to reach.

Ranch-style homes along the Vernon River

Most of Paradise Park is comprised of ranch-style homes, with a few newer constructed homes scattered throughout. Prices for ranch-style homes can range from $146,000 for a home in need of total renovation and reach up to $396,500 for a home that has been remodeled. Although recent “remodeling has driven up home prices,” Paradise Park’s homes still sit squarely in a “first-time homebuyer’s price range,” Donovan says. Mature trees tower over the streets, providing plenty of shade. Properties often have short, paved driveways occasionally leading to carports or attached single-car garages. The neighborhood has few sidewalks, and street parking is common. Most New Traditional homes will be single story, ranging in price from $325,000 to about $600,000.
