Suburban neighborhood on the east side of Schererville
Located on the east side of Schererville, New Elliott is less populated than other Schererville communities, but maintains the same suburban charm. “New Elliot is really just a part of Schererville, almost like a subdivision. It’s between two towns, Schererville and Merrillville, but people in New Elliot use the same amenities as people in Schererville,” says Felicitas Lara, Schererville local and broker at Coldwell Banker Commercial Realty. “It’s a central location. There’s easy access to shopping and entertainment, and it’s close to Illinois as well.”
