Seymour has lakeside homes on Lake Altoona
Seymour sits alongside Lake Altoona in western Wisconsin, offering scenic views and a lower cost of living for the area. “There’s a lot to love about Seymour, including larger lot sizes and lower property taxes than surrounding neighborhoods,’’ says Realtor Kelly Dettinger, a real estate agent with Keller Williams Realty Diversified for more than 10 years. “But I think what really sets Seymour apart is that buyers can create a nice balance here. They can live on a lake, or have a few acres in the country. But they’re still just a mile from Altoona and less than 5 miles from Eau Claire.”
