"There are many older, charming homes in that area that have been beautifully updated over the years," Cronin says. Prices range from $200,000 for a three-bedroom, two-bathroom to $400,000 for a three-bedroom, three-bathroom split-level with a spacious front and back yard and attached garage. Homes on the higher end of the price range sometimes include pools, too. Most of the homes are in the $275,000 to $300,000 range.

Award-winning coaching at Tinley Park High

Students will begin at Scarlet Oak Elementary, a B-minus school according to Niche.
