Easy access to downtown and proposals to reduce traffic
Downtown Tucson is a 7-mile drive north via Interstate 19 on the area’s eastern border. Bike lanes can be found on West Drexel Road and South Midvale Park Road, which intersect in the middle. Toward the end of 2023, the city announced plans to build a bridge on Drexel to reduce traffic on Irvington and Valencia Road, which cuts through the community. Running near the Santa Cruz River wash The Loop can be used for biking to and from work around the city.
