Luxury Condos with skyline views

Take one look around the neighborhood, and you’ll notice something quickly: There aren’t any houses, but apartments are available in abundance. Live above your bustling neighborhood with panoramic views of the city at Metro at Brady, which shares with the adjacent Tribune Lofts a pool, covered parking, a clubhouse with an always-open fitness center and an outdoor kitchen. The staff prepares complimentary breakfast for its residents every Saturday. Sporting only one- and two-bed residences, its rent starts at $1,300 per month. The area’s first luxury condo development, Davenport Lofts, just opened in 2023 with two and three-bedroom offerings. Let your four-legged friend roam around the private dog run or make a cocktail and take in the views from the 7,000-square-foot rooftop. Prices start at $750,000.

Unique bars and top-notch eateries

No matter where you live, you’re always steps away from widely beloved restaurants. Amelia's is possibly the most recognized and acclaimed upscale American eatery specializing in wood-grilled cuisine like chicken breast and pork loin. Only open for dinner, it also has a basque two doors down. “Amelia’s is really nicely put together with beautiful food,” says Tiffany Johnson, Realtor for Chinowth & Cohen. “Everything is served on porcelain plates. It’s really cute and chill.” For a taste of the Caribbean, head to Sisserou’s for fall-off-the-bone oxtails and jerk chicken and wash it down with a ginger beer from Chimera, which also serves coffee and a little bit of everything food-wise, from tacos to avocado toast. And it wouldn’t be a downtown area without a heavy nightlife scene. If you’re seeking a night out but don’t know where to start, the bartenders at Valkyrie have a list of words that you can choose from, and they’ll make your drink from there. One block over, The Hunt Club regularly has live music performances that pair well with its American fare like mac ‘n’ cheese and drinks like rum punch. For a relaxing night on the town, sip on a blueberry sour beer while lounging on Welltown Brewing’s rooftop deck.

Family-friendly entertainment options are visible from every corner of this neighborhood, too. Guthrie Green Park hosts Food Truck Wednesdays from 11 am to 2 pm with a handful of local vendors. It also hosts about 300 other free events every year, ranging from fitness classes and concerts to movie nights. Local landmarks

You can celebrate one of Oklahoma’s superstars just south of the park. The Woody Guthrie Center, memorializing the folk singer-songwriter known for “This Land Is Your Land,” among other tracks, displays his ever-relevant role in music through artifacts, exhibits and a feature film. If you’re still in the musical mood afterward, snag tickets to a show at the Tulsa Theater. Established in 1914 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, this venue has hosted icons like Tony Bennett and Cyndi Lauper and continues to draw international tours. One of Tulsa’s most recognized dedications bounds the neighborhood to the east. National literary landmark John Hope Franklin Reconciliation Park commemorates the hundreds of victims of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre through poignant structures depicting images of that day and a memorial documenting African American history.

GreatSchools: The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
