Whether traveling locally or internationally, residents of Raceway are in a prime position to get to any destination. Not only are there expressways stretching in every direction, but the Raceway neighborhood is under 6 miles away from the Tulsa International Airport. Besides paths of travel, Raceway is also home to the passion of many Tulsa residents. “Cars are a very big thing around here; racing is a big thing,” says Patricia Love-Renton, Associate Realtor with McGraw, who has been working in real estate for the last 25 years. Raceway has not one but two tracks for residents and car enthusiasts to enjoy. Surrounding businesses are primarily commercial, so for parks and everyday shopping, residents hop on the closest highway and can be at their destination in under 12 minutes.

Investors recognize the convenience of the area’s location, being right in the middle of multiple interstates for commuters’ benefit and have begun constructing apartments for rent. “Those areas are sought after because of the price,” Love-Renton says.

Fireworks and festivals
Downtown is the place to be in Tulsa for all major events. “From spring to fall at the First Friday Art Crawl, we listen to all the music and see all the local vendors and artists,” Love-Renton says. “Tulsa is like this hidden gem where you can do so many things for free if you just look for them.” One favorite is the fireworks displays they do at Veterans Park, leaving crowds in awe. Raceway’s convenient proximity to all the expressways makes getting to these events and attractions, like the racetrack, always quick and easy.
GreatSchools:
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
