Rural charm with proximity to downtown Tulsa
The humble community of Turley tends to get overlooked, since it’s sandwiched between downtown Tulsa and the rapidly growing Owasso. But that would be a mistake, as this census-designated place offers one of the metropolitan area’s biggest entertainment options. O’Brien Park consists of 140 acres of athletic opportunities hemmed in by quiet, secluded residential spaces and sweeping countryside.
"O'Brien Park has been a wonderful addition to the Turley community," says Jason Turley, chairman of the Turley Community Association. "Plus, people like to live here because it's close to all the surrounding cities, but they enjoy the individuality of the community itself. They enjoy the quiet, peaceful atmosphere."

Craftsman homes and expansive lots
The serene residential streets match the vibe. An array of architectural styles rests on half- and full-acre lots, including wood-and-brick 1940s-era Craftsman houses, ’90s Masonite manufactured homes and investment-opportunity ’30s stone bungalows, all of which come with expansive, fenced-in backyards, some of which come with detached garages. Depending on square footage, condition and features, asking prices run for vacant lots are as low as $11,000 and reach up to $150,000 for a recently updated home with 1,000 square feet of living space. "The main draw of the area is the cost of living," says Amber Post, Realtor for DreamMaker Realty. "Some people group Turley with North Tulsa, which is more for cheap housing."
