Safari Land has been a staple of the area for over 20 years, with several indoor activities, like bowling lanes, bumper cars and more than 100 arcade games.

Easy access to Cricket Creek County Forest Preserve
Villa Park has several parks and recreational facilities, including Terrace View Park, the Park District’s Fitness Center, various picnic areas, and a lake. The park includes several amenities, including a lighted softball field, walking trails, a playground and a pavilion with charcoal grills. “The parks are a great part of the community everyone loves,” Pickerill says. Lions Community Recreation Center is part of the Lufkin Park renovations, expected to be finished by the end of 2024. The upgrades will include an outdoor concert venue, splash pad, shelter and sensory gardens.
Villa Park also has easy access to Cricket Creek County Forest Preserve, with more than three miles of trails that connect to the Salt Creek Greenway Trail. People go to Cricket Creek to walk or bike on the trails and go fishing.

Several A’s for Willowbrook High School
Young students will start their educational journies at North Elementary, a B-minus school according to Niche. North Elementary uses a strategic plan they developed to help students navigate and practice modern learning. The next stop on their academic adventures is Jackson Middle School, a B institution that offers sports like basketball, soccer and volleyball.
