"In the town center, there's also this middle area, and it's all paved, but there are seats around, and people hang out there. In the summers, they will have events like a drive-in movie, but you sit, and they have a projector screen. So, it is great for families," Makriyianis says. Town Center hosts Movies in the Plaza each Saturday from September through the end of October, including complimentary popcorn.

Virginia Beach Public Schools provides highly rated education

Students in Pembroke can attend Pembroke Meadows Elementary, which has an A-minus Niche rating. Hop on Interstate 264 to get to Norfolk
