Waterfront living in suburban Lakeview
With homes surrounding the shores of the 45-acre Hardy Pond, Lakeview is true to its name. This Waltham community also offers a lower cost of living compared to other Boston suburbs, while its proximity to public schools, parks and retail make the neighborhood highly accessible. “Waltham is surrounded by more expensive neighborhoods, like Lexington or Belmont,” says Mike DeStefano, a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Realty. “But Lakeview has homes under $600,000, which is an affordable price point in Waltham and the Boston area in general.”
The town of Waltham was founded in 1850.
Kayaking and sailing can be enjoyed at Hardy's Pond in Lakeview.
