Plenty of new construction
As a large suburb, Westlake's housing options are located in sprawling cul-de-sacs and developments of single-family homes. “Strongsville is the largest luxury market on the west side of Cleveland when it comes to newer construction," says Realtor Mary Frances Weir with RE/MAX Crossroads. "There's also a middle market from the 1960s through the '80s, mostly of Cape Cods. And a large array of modest ranch-style mid-rise condos and 55-plus communities." In addition to its retail, Crocker Park taps into the real estate market by offering condos and town houses by the mall. Prospective homebuyers can find condo options under or around $330,000 or a Colonial Revival starting from $400,000. One of Westlake's new builds usually starts in the $700,000s and can go for over $1 million.
