Kids walking to school is the norm in this area.” Children in Benjamin Hills-Pleasant Valley can attend McLean Science and Technology Magnet Elementary School. In addition to being named after the neighborhood’s founders, the school has a B-minus grade from Niche. Next, students can attend C-minus-graded Pleasant Valley Middle before going to Wichita North High. Lending to its C-plus grade, the school offers over 50 concurrent credit classes through Wichita State University and Newman University. Students may also go to St. Jude Catholic School for kindergarten through eighth grade.
