An established Villages neighborhood between Routes 466 and 466A
The Village of Lynnhaven sits closer to Oxford than the rest of The Villages, the sprawling 55-plus planned community it’s a part of. It also offers just one recreation center, a rarity in The Villages, where some neighborhoods boast multiple rec centers and golf courses. But Lynnhaven’s proximity to nearby amenities is a big draw. “It’s really in the sweet spot of The Villages,” says James Haviland, a Realtor at Sellstate Superior Realty who sells throughout The Villages. That “sweet spot” is between Routes 466 and 466A (or, as locals say, "between the sixes"), which offers the highest concentration of amenities in all The Villages. That proximity combined with its established feel gives Lynnhaven’s residents a homey place to live with dozens of things to do just a short golf cart ride away.

Two- and three-bedroom Patio Villas throughout the neighborhood
The homes in Lynnhaven are mostly two-bedroom Patio Villas built between 2004 and 2005. Prices range from the high $200,000s to the low $400,000s, with the more expensive homes typically featuring golf course views. Lot sizes run small, so homes sit close together, though ones around the neighborhood's cul-de-sacs tend to offer more space. Front yards are manicured, and backyards often feature patios or pools. The streets are quiet and clear, giving residents plenty of room for evening walks or bike rides. The Villages places a bond ranging from $20,000 to $100,000 on every new home built in the community, which buyers can pay in full at closing or pay off in monthly installments. But in Lynnhaven, the homes are older, so many have had their bonds paid off.
