Historic community with proximity to everything
The grand old Victorian and Tudor houses of historic Wick Park once housed the "who's who" of early 20th-century Youngstown's elite. Today, the area is known for its vintage homes, large community park and central location. Residents within walking distance of downtown and Youngstown State University (YSU), located south of Wick Park, include students, working professionals and families. Narrow streets densely lined with trees and broken sidewalks wind throughout the neighborhood, showcasing homes, many in need of updating. Some front lawns are in better shape than others, and many open, overgrown lots are scattered about.
