Dalworthington Gardens
Dalworthington Gardens exists because of Eleanor Roosevelt. She passed through the area one day to meet her son's fiancé and knew it would be the next ideal place to establish a homestead for families suffering during the great depression. It was one of five homesteads created in Texas during that time and the only one still existing.
