Waverly Terrace
Established in 1906 to house a growing middle class, Waverly Terrace was the first planned subdivision in Columbus. This 45-acre community just north of downtown – framed by Hamilton Road to the west and 12th Avenue to the east – also held an elementary school and a central park. The last planned home for the subdivision was completed in 1929.
