Cresson
Cresson is a small, rural Cambria County borough situated in the Allegheny Mountains. In 1881, the Mountainhouse Hotel opened next to the nearby Pennsylvania Railroad station with the hope of attracting Pittsburgh and Johnstown residents looking for a getaway destination. The hotel was demolished in 1916 and development in the area slowed down.
