Richmond West
Richmond West was initially rolling farmlands that stretched west of major Miami attractions, like the Miami Zoo and the Larry and Penny Thompson Memorial Park. In the 1980s, developers came in and started to build subdivisions – and by the tail-end of the 1990s, thousands of homes filled quiet streets and avenues west of SW 137th Avenue.
