Homebuyers in Reno, Nevada, will have access to a trove of newly built million-dollar-plus houses that offer a balance of rugged seclusion and urban amenities.
Toll Brothers said homes in its new Reno-area development, Ascente, are for sale, with move-in dates as early as this fall, according to a statement the luxury homebuilder released Monday. The properties will range from 2,600 square feet to nearly 6,400 square feet, and they’ll be available starting at $1.1 million.
The homes will have “innovative new floor plans, impressive architecture, and sensational mountain views from multiple vantage points,” Donna O’Connell, division president of Toll Brothers Reno, said in the statement.

The houses will be in Reno’s Pleasant Valley neighborhood, a secluded community that offers residents space and hiking trails yet access to the metropolitan amenities of South Reno, including shopping and dining.
In all, the development will bring about 200 houses to Washoe County at a time when the limited supply and rising prices are squeezing homebuyers.
Since March 2020, the median single-family home price in the county has increased roughly 44%. At the same time, data from Homes.com showed that in the past 12 months, only six homes have sold in the Pleasant Valley neighborhood. As of Monday, only one house was for sale in the neighborhood on Homes.com.
