An Arizona estate built by a basketball enthusiast for fellow sports fans is on the market.
Known as “HardtSeasons,” the more than 21,000-square-foot house in Scottsdale is up for sale at $23.5 million, according to a listing on Homes.com. It’s the first time the property has been on the market since it was built in 2017, and listing agent David Newman says it’s already attracted attention from professional athletes.

“The last two showings have been ball players, pretty prominent ball players, and believe it or not, baseball players,” Newman said in an interview. “I think it’s going to speak more to somebody that’s either a ball player or just someone that has kids and their kids love sports.”
The house has seven bedrooms and 18 bathrooms. It has two pools, a nine-car garage, multiple fireplaces, views of the mountains, a golf simulator and a movie theater.

There’s also “The Jordan Room” that houses 290 pairs of Michael Jordan sneakers (that come with the purchase of the house). Outside, there’s a nine-hole putting green, chipping pads and a practice range plus a track for running.
But more than that, the house includes an underground regulation-size basketball gym that has hosted more than 60 NBA stars, including Kobe Bryant, Mikal Bridges, Chris Paul, Damian Lillard and Torrey Craig.

The property drew the attention of those stars after the home’s owner sought a private basketball coach for his son, Newman said. In the years since then, the court was opened up to professionals and other teams and garnered local media attention for its rotating cast of visitors.
Newman said the owner is selling because his son — the basketball player — is off to college.
“The house is massive for three people, so they’re just downsizing,” he said.
