One of the nation's largest homebuilders is expanding its presence in the U.S. Southwest with two new developments in the Oklahoma City market that could appeal to first-time buyers.
LGI Homes announced the openings of The Enclave at Creekside Village near Yukon, Oklahoma, and Hollow Brook in the town of Tuttle.
Buyers at The Enclave can select one- or two-story floor plans with three to five bedrooms, according to the company. The homes range from about 1,500 to 2,500 square feet, and prices start in the $280,000s.
Hollow Brook prices start in the low $300,000s. LGI also is building homes there with three to five bedrooms ranging from 1,400 to 2,500 square feet. The homes include two-car garages and fenced-in back yards.

The Oklahoma City metropolitan area ranks as the 67th-largest region in the country with a population of 1.48 million, according to the latest figures from the U.S. Census. LGI already has existing Oklahoma City-area developments Crimson Lake Estates in El Reno; Tuscany Lakes in Yukon; and Winter Creek in Blanchard. It also plans to open a sixth project in the market, Greenhill in Oklahoma City.
LGI, based in The Woodlands, Texas, builds in 36 markets in 21 states. The company said it has sold more than 75,000 homes since its founding in 2003. It ranks as the 15th-largest U.S. homebuilder with more than 6,720 sales in 2023, according to the most recent rankings from Builder magazine.
