Daryl Dixon is known as the expert zombie hunter on AMC's hit show "The Walking Dead," but instead of fleeing the undead, the actor who portrays him has banked a profit on the sale of his Manhattan home.

Norman Reedus sold his three-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom Little Italy penthouse for $5.4 million, according to New York property records. He bought the 2,575-square-foot condominium in 2013 for $3.8 million.

The residence is one of two penthouse spaces inside a 12-unit building at 136 Baxter St. The condo "is pin-drop quiet and exceptionally private with limited view lines," according to the Homes.com listing. The unit has two levels — the top one features an expansive living room and a kitchen while the lower level holds the bedrooms.

But the building wasn't always residential. In a previous life, it was a horse stable for New York police officers back when their headquarters was at 240 Centre St. The building was converted into condos in 2007.

Nick Gavin and Allie Fraza, the two real estate agents at Compass who led the transaction, didn't immediately respond to a request to comment Thursday.

Reedus is a Florida native and former Prada model known for his portrayal of Murphy MacManus in the 1999 film "The Boondock Saints." He played such a pivotal "Walking Dead" character that AMC created a spin-off that's entering its third season.

Reedus previously bought a unit on 136 Baxter's second floor in 2009 for $1.8 million then sold it four years later for $2 million, property records show.

Reedus and his partner, fellow actor Diane Kruger, are said to have bought and sold a number of properties, including a castle in Los Angeles and a Georgia estate. They bought a four-story townhouse in Manhattan's Greenwich Village in 2018 for $11.7 million but sold it at a loss for $9.9 million, according to Crain's New York Business.

The New York Post earlier reported Reedus' 136 Baxter condo sale.
