Willow Wood is west of Interstate 680 in northwest Omaha. The neighborhood offers access to the Eagle Ridge golf club and two major thoroughfares: West Maple Road and West Dodge Road. Most homes date to the 1970s and '80s, with raised ranch-style, split-level and tri-level being the most common types. Properties are generally in good condition, but some interior spaces could use a modern refresh. Home prices range from the mid-$200,000s to the mid-$300,000s, and the median sale price of $290,000 is about the same as the citywide median. Most residential streets are quiet, and paved paths allow residents to get around the neighborhood on foot, but you'll need a car to go any farther. Downtown Omaha is a 20-minute drive away, and job opportunities are available at First National Business Park, a five-minute drive. Candlewood and Bryn Mawr offer access to the highly rated Columbian Elementary School, and Eagle Run residents are closer to the golf course, but houses in those neighborhoods cost more.
