The original house was built in the 1820’s by the Warfields. It was owned by Ann Warfield, then by Rebecca Warfield, then Vernon and later Geraldine Warfield. (The Dorseys (current owner) are related to the Warfields.)

In the 1920’s and 1960’s there were additions and renovations to the house.
