For the past fifty-two years, it has owned and operated three affordable buildings: Bryant Manor, Imperial Apartments, and Texada.Over the past ten years, the Seattle Central District has experienced gentrification. In response to this neighborhood change, FAME has stayed its course and expanded its agenda to include three new goals: combat the effects of gentrification, help those who have been uprooted or are at risk of displacement from the Seattle's Central District, and develop new housing opportunities that are healthy, affordable, and culturally enriched.
