About Aliza

Aliza believes that honesty and integrity create long-lasting and successful business relationships. In 1990, Aliza began her real estate career in Greater Boston. Prior to her career in real estate, Aliza worked at Smith Barney and at State Street Bank in private banking and stock brokerage. Her financial background has been an asset to her clients in real estate. Aliza greatly enjoys her work, making it a pleasure for her to market properties for her seller clients or to help her buyer clients pursue their perfect home. She is a skilled negotiator and understands the nuances of buying a home in a competitive market or selling a home and getting her clients the best and most solid deal.

With her years of dedication to the profession, Aliza’s knowledge of the real estate market, combined with her community knowledge, gives her clients an advantage in achieving their goals. Many of Aliza’s friends are her clients and many of her clients have become friends. Aliza’s special combination of cheerful persistence and superior communication skills enable her to deliver results for both sellers and buyers of residential properties.

Aliza grew up in New York City surrounded by music and art. Her mother is an artist, and her father was an executive in the music industry. She studied abroad and has traveled extensively throughout Europe and the Middle East. Aliza is married to Nicholas Salzman, a business consultant. They have three children who were raised in Brookline. Their eldest son graduated from Brookline High School in 2008, their daughter in 2017, and youngest in 2019. She is an active member of the Brookline community including the local Brookline food pantry, Brookline Democratic committee, amongst other philanthropic causes. Most recently she volunteered at the Hebrew Senior Housing in Brookline, assisting quarantined elderly during COVID by delivering mail, food, and much-needed medicine and medical supplies.

Working with Aliza will not only be a rewarding experience, but also a fun one! She makes the stressful process of home-buying or selling a pleasant experience through humor, good business practices, and integrity.
