Andrea McSorley

Andrea is a native of Virginia, having grown up in Fairfax County. She attended college at the University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia and graduated with a BA in education. In 1992, she returned to NOVA with her husband, Rick. Starting in Fairfax and moving to Loudoun County in 1999, they raised their two children, Trace and Micaela and became deeply involved in their community in Ashburn. They have watched the entire region grow and change as it has transformed into one of the best places in the country to work and live.


An elementary school teacher by training and tenured in Arlington County Public Schools, Andrea began selling real estate in 2002. Her experience in education translated easily to the art of helping buyers and sellers through their real estate transactions. Each client has a unique situation and circumstance, and Andrea’s skill set as a teacher has enabled her to walk her clients through their questions and concerns regarding location, timing, affordability and investment. Andrea also understands the time and stress component of a real estate transaction and does not take her responsibility to assist in the “human” aspect of a move, lightly. Each transaction is a journey, not a singular event, requiring time and patience. Now an Associate Broker with the One Loudoun Office, Andrea also has been certified as an Accredited Buyer Agent and is Relocation Certified. She is a member of the Dulles Area Association of Realtors as well as VAR (Virginia) and NAR (National). Her dedication to her own continuing education, as well was as her commitment to her community and clients, has helped her remain in the top 5% of Realtors, nationwide, year-over-year. Working almost entirely by referral, the satisfaction and happy transition of her clients is the cornerstone of her success and the key to her future.
