Anna immigrated to the United States from Moscow, Russia, without knowing the language or having any connections. Through hard work and perseverance, she went on to earn a double major in Political Science and Sociology from Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio. Shortly after, she moved to New York City, where she completed her master’s degree at John Jay College of Criminal Justice all by the age of 23.
