About Art

Art Herling began his real estate career over 39 years ago and has been involved in over 17,000 real estate transactions to date. As a new real estate agent in 1980, Art joined Township Reality in Upper Dublin Township, Montgomery County. In 1985, Art had achieved over $16 million in production in a single year, so it was not a surprise that he quickly achieved the title of Manager when AD&P bought Township Reality. He was named manager of the year four times during his tenure. In 1987, Art joined Weichert Realtors and continued in his manager’s role while he successfully grew his office to the #1 producing real estate office in the area. He was named Regional Vice President of the Delaware Valley region in 1995. When Long&Foster entered the Delaware Valley marketplace in the spring of 2001, Art was a natural choice to lead them into market dominance. As Senior Vice President, Art brought together a team of 1,600 agents, built 21 offices, and created a top-ranking real estate company encompassing Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. The Long&Foster region, under Art’s direction, did over $2 billion in sales in 2005. Art specializes in management, new home construction, residential, multi-unit properties, lot sales, and land development. He works closely with many of the area’s high-profile builders, investors, and clients. Currently, he represents Herling Homes, Evans Homes, Marc Salamone Homes, CD Hall Builders, Vintage Development, Woodstone Custom Homes, Rockhill Builders, Pisani Builders Association, Thomas Construction, Inc., D’Agostino Builders to name a few. He is highly respected for his "insider knowledge and pulse" of the industry and his focus is to continue to dominate the new homes market as the broker of choice. In 2018 Art and his group of agents did $240+ million in sales volume. Art is the #1 agent in Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, and Delaware counties and his superior sales skills have made him Long&Foster’s #1 agent in Pennsylvania and the #3 agent in Pennsylvania overall.
