About Barbara

Barbara grew up at the family homestead in Atkinson, NH, which was built in 1737 and sold after 11 generations. After apprenticing in Interior Design & Space Planning she obtained her Assoc. degree. She has been licensed in NH since 1976. She is the 3rd generation in her family to be known for her excellence in the Industry. She purchased The Gordon Brown's Real Estate from her father in 1988. In 1997, Brown merged her successful company with The Masiello Group.

Barbara Brown has a lifetime of Real Estate knowledge and experience. She was able to quickly solve an issue with questions on lot size. After going on the market, she had two back to back Open House’s. 47 showings and five offers. 4 considerably over asking. She helped us determine the Best Offer. Once Under Agreement, next was inspections. Unfortunately the septic failed and the next hurdle was getting a septic installed before closing. Barbara has a qualified list of contractors to get things done fast! Overall experience was awesome. Barbara responded to questions and any issues promptly. Many thanks! Jeannie Lonergan

Dave and I did a majoy renovation on a LARGE Hampstead home. Unforetunately is was just as the housing market was tanking. Barb presented us with a comprehensive market ananylisy along with doable staging recommendations. Her ability to interrupt the housing market reality was spot on. We were under contract quickly and Barb kept us in the loop as the process toward closing took place. Even if there was not news, she let us know. If you want a real estate professional to handle your purchase and sale of your residencial property, Barb is your gal.
