Betsy attended the University of Dayton, majoring in communications. She started out in fine jewelry buying, then spent 13 years as a wine consultant for the largest distributor in VA selling to restaurants and wine shops. Most recently, Betsy was in Executive Recruiting for creative, legal and consulting professional Services. She has lived in the Alexandria community for 30 years and is involved with numerous local volunteer organizations and charities. Her other favorite pastime is her painting and artistic pursuits.
