About Bobby

Bobby Daniel is a native of Oklahoma City and a Graduate of the University of Oklahoma. During the five years he spent at OU, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. While completing a master’s degree in Economics and Finance he was selected by the Department of Economics to teach undergraduate economics as a Graduate Assistant to the Chairman of the Department of Economics.

In 1967, prior to enrolling in the graduate program at OU, he was commissioned into the United States Air Force as a 2nd Lieutenant. Upon graduation, he began four years of active duty as a Purchasing and Contracting Officer for the USAF and achieved the rank of Captain before resigning his commission to pursue a career in industry.

Bobby joined Kentucky Fried Chicken Corporation In 1972 and was eventually promoted to Director of Operations/Administration for the National Management Company that operated some 850 stores that were then owned by the stockholders of Heublein Corporation. During his employment at KFC, he became a close friend of the company founder, Colonel Harlan Sanders, who personally nominated Bobby to the honorary rank of Kentucky Colonel. He resigned from KFC to own and operate a mid-western pizza franchise in Houston, Texas. He sold the company in 1979 and was recruited by Al Copeland, founder and owner of Popeyes Famous Fried Chicken, New Orleans, Louisiana as Vice President of Operations with responsibility for approximately 85 restaurants in New Orleans, Atlanta, and Houston.

In 1982 an opportunity presented itself in the rapidly expanding home medical equipment industry in Oklahoma City. As a result, he resigned his position with Popeyes and returned to Oklahoma City to own and operate American Respiratory and Rehabilitation until 1996 when he sold the company to Rotech, a large, international medical conglomerate. During his tenure as President of American Respiratory, he founded American Business Forms, a printing company that markets proprietary copyrighted forms, tags, and labels to independent medical dealers across the United States. In addition, he invested in and eventually became sole owner of “Sweete Memories Specialty Bakery” which was known for beautiful gift baskets filled with luscious, handmade sweets that were delivered locally and shipped coast to coast daily. He sold Sweete Memories in August of 2006 to Chef Joseph Royer, owner of the famous Saturn Grill located in historic Nichols Hills Plaza in Northwest Oklahoma City.

Bobby became a fulltime realtor in 2004 and devotes all his professional time and energy to his Real Estate Business. He realizes that the sale and/or purchase of a home are among the most important and life changing events in an individual’s life. His real love is working with families, especially those that are relocating to the Oklahoma City area from out of state, and his personal goal is not only to find his clients the right home at the right price but to establish relationships that will last a lifetime.
