Brian Hayter

Brian, often affectionately referred to by his last name Hayter, hails from the beautiful Pacific Northwest, a region he knows intimately. Born and raised in Snohomish County, he pursued his education at Western Washington University in Bellingham, and his journey has also taken him to the Eastside, where he resided in Kirkland, as well as Seattle's Greenlake area. Currently, Brian and wife, Amy, along with their two energetic boys, Theo and Parker, call Edmonds their home.

When he's not immersed in work or spending cherished moments with his family, Brian enjoys a range of hobbies. Outdoor activities like skiing, golfing, and hiking captivate his adventurous spirit, while the allure of a good book can also captivate his attention. Music holds a special place in his heart, with Pearl Jam ranking as his all-time favorite and classic rock as a genre of particular interest. Brian's love for music extends to attending live concerts, where he's accumulated an impressive list of shows he's attended. Traveling is another passion, and he has been fortunate enough to explore diverse countries across Africa, Asia, South America, and Europe. As a dedicated Seattle sports fan, he relishes rooting for local teams and sharing the excitement with friends and family during games.

Brian takes immense pride in his role as a member of the Snohomish County Realtor Association's Board of Directors and the Government Affairs Committee. Through these roles, he actively works to advocate for affordable homeownership opportunities and property owner rights within his community. Giving back to those in need is a core value for Brian. He has been at the forefront of coordinating his office's Community Service Day project since 2017, focusing on providing fresh produce to local food banks. Additionally, he participates in various charitable projects sponsored by his office, such as offering scholarships for kids to attend YMCA Camp Orkila on Orcas Island, organizing food, and clothing drives, supporting healthcare professionals with meals during the pandemic, and ensuring low-income families in Snohomish County have a memorable Christmas. As a Windermere agent, a portion of his compensation from each transaction contributes to the Windermere Foundation, which has raised over $50 million to support low-income and homeless families in the area.

Despite his fear of heights, Brian has bravely faced his phobia, taking the plunge to skydive and bungee jump not once, but twice! Adding a unique dimension to his life, Brian has had the privilege of officiating weddings for several of his past clients, a role that holds a special place in his heart.
