About Cate

Cate grew up in Katonah, located in Westchester County, where she attended Katonah-Lewisboro Schools. She then obtained a Bachelors’ Degree in just 3 years from the University at Buffalo for Communications & Marketing.

Growing up in the industry, Cate’s passion for real estate began at an early age. It was that enthusiasm that led her to jobs in the industry, being exposed to real estate transactions through her mom, Carine, who has been an agent since 2003 and then working at a full-service real estate company in New York City.

Cate and Carine joined forces in 2020, founding The Carine and Cate Team at Compass. The team has over $400M sold in real estate transactions. Cate is one of the youngest principal agents at Compass and managed to sell over $50M worth of real estate in her first two years in the business.

She is enthusiastic about interior design and puts this to action at all the teams' properties. Whether it is a Compass Concierge, staging, or full renovation project, she has the connections to many local contractors and vendors to share with her clients to get the project done right.

She communicates well with clients, finding their needs. She takes time to get to know her client's lifestyles so she can help them choose the best area, home, and neighborhood. Cate has a wide range of knowledge throughout Westchester, having lived her entire life there so she is able to help clients get acclimated to the Westchester lifestyle as well.

Most of all, Cate cares immensely about her clients and treats them all as friends/family. She will go to great lengths to ensure her clients are taken care of. Cate is incredibly patient with her clients and very responsive.

Cate currently resides in Bronxville with her fiancé, Matt. In her spare time, you can find her fine-tuning her practice of Pilates/Barre, cooking up new recipes, spending time with family up in Katonah, or traveling the world.
