Coulter, from day one, took what is an overwhelming and often confusing process and broke it up into manageable parts, explaining each part every step of the way. He was always on the ball and willing to discuss anything we felt we needed to such as possible renovation costs and options to talking through concerns about aspects of various properties. Coulter went above and beyond every time, walking through every property with us and pointing out issues as if he was planning to purchase the property himself. We never once felt pressured into doing anything that was not right for us, and he used his deep, deep knowledge of the area and market to give us a leg up when it was time to put in an offer at a competitive price, allowing us to secure a house on the first one no less. He was always accommodating of any issues we had, and never pushy about anything. He truly was a joy to work with and he carries my highest recommendation.

One of the things I appreciated most about Coulter was his attention to detail. Even as first time homebuyers with an actual budget, Kelly made us feel like important clients. She was transparent, patient, and incredibly responsive, willing to drive an hour without notice for a quick appointment. She is also knowledgeable and data driven, the latter trait seemingly a rarity in this profession. As a first-time home buyer, what a pleasure it has been working with Coulter as my realtor! From the time I first met with Coulter until today he has been extremely responsive and patient with all my questions. Initially, he explained to me the complete home buying process, set me up with property reports / trends and carefully made me aware of the expertise he brought to the table. He was firm in giving me the confidence that he could be a vested partner in my house search process but never pushed me to make decisions that I wasn't comfortable with. He always listens very carefully to understand what you are really looking for. When we started on my house search, I was not sure about what kind of house and area that would make me happy as a homeowner and fit within my budget. I had a very wide search area covering all of the south bay and most of the east bay neighborhoods in the San Francisco Bay area. Coulter quickly understood my situation and advised me to start with just seeing a few properties with an open mind to gauge my liking and comfort. After a few house tours, we quickly narrowed down on fewer neighborhoods and the style of house that I was looking for. Then started the process of putting in offers. This is where Coulter's expertise and experience in being a home contractor came in very handy. It was impressive and comforting to see that he could look at the property disclosure records and exactly tell me what the minor and major areas of problem were. Similarly, when taking house tours with him, he highlighted so many points about the house condition that I would have never paid attention to. When we finally put in a few offers, Coulter knew exactly how to negotiate with the seller's agent and buyer's comfort zone. Coulter is professionally trained in negotiation techniques and equally experienced in putting that into deal making. Coulter didn't stop after my offer was accepted. He provided me with several contacts and offered guidance in getting me the best loan mortgage rates. He came along with me for all post purchases inspections and even sent me a few good design services contacts at my request. With all the help from Coulter, I was able to land my beautiful townhouse that I'm very happy to call my home. Best part is during the entire process, I found a solid and reliable friend that I can count on. Coulter helped us in buying our first home in Bay Area. He is very knowledgeable on the bay area housing market. A friend referred us to Coulter after losing several offers on the houses we liked with other agents. He negotiated the house we really liked and we got it at a price we wanted. He is very thorough in explaining everything from the first moment you start working with him. His price estimate for the house was very accurate and we did not have any issues with appraisal. The most outstanding point about him is he helped us like a friend on every step through closing, our renovations and moving. With our busy schedules he really took a lot of burden and stress from us by arranging everything and giving us great recommendations. We already recommended him to our family and friends and if we want to buy or sell a house we will definitely go back to him.

We were put in touch with Coulter through Zillow. This was our very first in-person experience with a realtor. The first day itself set an amazing impression. He was extremely patient and forthright while answering all of our queries, considering that we have an extremely different experience with property sale in our country and no experience in the US.
He didn't make us sign a contract on the very first meeting. Instead he gave the option to shop around in case we weren't satisfied.
He always found time to discuss even last minute offers even if it meant sitting up late through the night. There was one instance when we almost hit midnight through a call.
If he sensed that we were interested in a house, he was very persistent in getting to know the seller's agent as well as he could. Our current home had a particularly difficult seller's agent. However, Coulter was even able to strike a cord with her.
And in the end his hard work, tact and persistence got us the beautiful house that we now call home.
What struck me most about Coulter was his honesty. There was an instance when we blindly said we will bid a certain amount and Coulter advised against it as it did not seem wise to pay such a high amount for that listing and we walked away from that offer.
Our first and only experience with a realtor in the US has been amazing. Along the journey, through discussion with family and friends, we have come to realize that Coulter maintains very high standards and is fully dedicated to his clients, and we were blessed to have him as our agent.

My partner and I were absolutely blown away by Coulter and company. He and his team were in constant contact with us - whether explaining in the entire buying process each and every step of the way (initially daunting as first time homebuyers!), or helping us find the perfect contractors to get new flooring installed on our second floor. And, to our surprise and delight, any time we had a question, day or night, Coulter was there. There were multiple times where we messaged him questions at late hours, or on weekends - and he was absolutely on top of whatever we asked - from questions about condo listings, inspection reports, or anything else, it didn’t matter. My wife and I were introduced to Coulter through the agent who sold our previous home to assist in the purchase of our current home.
He was clear in his communication, punctual, knowledgeable, and very responsive. Sounds fundamental, but you'd be surprised how many agents lack these fundamentals.
Having some construction background and being details oriented also helped in identifying areas of concern during walk throughs and inspections.
