Background
David Baslaw has a diversified real estate background beginning in 1986 as Director of Planning and Development for a family-owned real estate company in Ottawa, Canada. In 1991 David was hired as the senior project manager for the [NRTEE] National Round Table on the Environment in the Economy, an independent body that reported directly to the Prime Minister of Canada's on all issues in sustainable development. 1994 he was hired as the state director for the Michigan Rails to Trails Conservancy, a non-profit national conservancy based out of Washington D.C. In 1996 he became a flight attendant manager for NW Airlines at their hub in Detroit, managing five hundred employees and traveling internationally to improve operational on time performance issues. In 2001 he helped develop and manage a Rental Services division for Coldwell Banker in Burlington Vermont and later brought that business model to Eugene, Oregon in 2003. This rental services company now in Eugene is rentoregon.net and continues to help people find quality rental options to sustain their lifestyle as they transition to Lane County. He has a combined experience in continuing to own his own real estate rental services company while selling Real Estate here in Lane County, Oregon. Personal
David resides in Eugene Oregon with his family since 2003 coming from Burlington Vermont via Ottawa Canada. He is married to an amazing partner Ginny Burkey, who is a Seattle native. Their son Noah is at University in Florida; they are extremely excited for him. Being a true Canadian, he continues to play ice hockey and has volunteered since 2003 as a coach for the Lane Amateur Hockey Association in Eugene. He has a B.S. degree in Economics and Environmental Science from Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada graduating in 1984.

With his team, they continue to assist professionals, retirees, and human resource managers who require help finding the perfect rental property when relocating to Lane County, before they consider purchasing a home.
